Impact assessments covering migration policyImpact assessments covering migration policy

I haven't drafted this item, because the source text supplied can't support it.

The text of the Home Office page shows only three documents: the 2023 student route and consequential work routes impact assessment, the 2024 spring Immigration Rules impact assessment, and the minimum income requirement equality impact assessment. Its update history ends on 8 October 2024. It contains nothing about:

  • the Immigration, Nationality and Passport (Fees) (Amendment) Regulations 2026
  • the Immigration and Nationality (Fees) Order (Amendment) 2026
  • any update on 6 May 2026

Under the review gate, a draft that can't be checked against its source isn't published. Writing the item as briefed would mean stating dates and document titles the source doesn't show.

To unblock it, either of these would work:

1. A fresh capture of the page. It should show the 6 May 2026 update entry and the two fees impact assessments. I can then write a short Report item with the exact titles and date. 2. The direct URLs of the two 2026 impact assessments. The fees regulations and order pages themselves would also work as primary sources.

I haven't written an item on the 2024 content, as it would be out of date for a 6 May 2026 event.
