No item drafted: the source text doesn't support the story.

The Form AN guidance text supplied shows "Updated 7 July 2026", but it cuts off partway through section 9.1 (the Life in the UK test). It contains no mention of a priority service for naturalisation applications. That means no fee, eligibility rule, processing time or start date for such a service can be checked against the source, and a draft built on it would fail the fact check.

The text does say, in section 2.4, that applicants "will usually get a decision within 6 months". That is a standard-service statement and doesn't establish a change.

To proceed, I need one of the following:

  • The full text of the guidance, including sections 10 to 14 and any section on the priority service.
  • The gov.uk "Updates to this page" entry for 7 July 2026, or a second official source such as a fee or priority service page, if the guidance links to one.

Once the priority service wording is in the source, I can write the Change item (Who, From, Source, body, related guide). It will probably use a `before_after` infographic if standard and priority fees or timescales are given.
